Alan Walker, the maestro of electronic beats, has taken to his Facebook page to announce the release of a brand new album. What makes this announcement even more extraordinary is the promise that accompanies it – a musical odyssey that will unfold month by month throughout 2024, with new songs added regularly.
So he already released the first single of the album called ‘Who I Am‘, making it the first of 12 songs on the album. We have no clue on what we will be getting for the next couple of months but seems like his long silence is finally started to pay off.
We already know that he got a track with Martin Garrix as he revealed in a live session.
He also wrote to his fans about the song.
When I first started releasing music, I kept it mostly to myself. I found sharing my songs with others intimidating and I feared not «fitting in the crowd» with my style of music. Mom and Dad always taught me to be true to myself and follow my heart. Even if that meant going against the current sometimes.. Together with some amazing people, I decided to write a song about this. About Who I Am and that #youarenotalone
