In a recent social media post, Fred Again, the dynamic music producer who has been making waves in the industry, posted a video offering a glimpse of his 2023. While Fred Again’s star power was already known, a surprising development unfolded when legendary multiple Grammy Awards winning producer Mike Dean left a comment saying “HMU” (Hit Me Up).

Fred Again has been on a collaborative spree, recently revealing a project with Lil Yachty and Overmono. The dynamic blend of genres and artists in Fred Again’s collaborations has garnered attention and praise, making each new project an eagerly anticipated event in the music world.

Mike Dean’s name is synonymous with excellence in music production. As a producer, mixer, and mastermind behind countless iconic tracks, Dean’s involvement in any project is bound to generate excitement.

He has become known for producing work with Kanye West. After initially contributing to the mixing of West’s albums The College Dropout and Late Registration, Dean contributed as producer on West’s albums GraduationMy Beautiful Dark Twisted FantasyYeezusThe Life of PabloYe, and Donda.[4] He also co-produced with West on his collaboration album with Jay-ZWatch the Throne. Dean was an additional producer on “Mercy” and “Higher” on GOOD Music‘s 2012 compilation album Cruel Summer. Dean has made particularly heavy contributions on West’s last albums and is credited on most tracks.

So a collab with Mike Dean will impact so much on Fred Again’s career as an artist and also as a producer. Will see how this conversation end up. Maybe they already started working on something, maybe not.
